Can't sign up or sign in
I tried to set up an ID.me account. It said my email address was already associated with an account.
Next, I used the 'forgot password' function to change the password. It changed my husband's password (plainsman2@***.com), and now neither one of us can sign in.

IDme customer support is HORRIBLE!!!!!!
I needed a ID PIN number for Taxes had to retrieve it from IDme. Well, that was in April, 2024.
I sent countless emails asking for help logging in. I couldnt get past screen that said something isnt right after confirming MFA. Still havent heard from them, its now July 2024. Ive been emailing support for same reason again.
I need to verify my identity for unemployment. Emailed them over 10 times in one week and still havent heard back.
Guess thats our government for yatotal *** How can a business be run like this!?! Company needs to be shut down.

ID ME ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED
My name is: Jessie Dennard. The reason I created my ID ME ACCOUNT is to verify my my identity to get my adjusted gross income to file my taxes from last year I verified my identity with a live agent and was able to access my ID ME ACCOUNT however I cant sign in my ID ME ACCOUNT now and I need to so I can file my taxes for this year Iam facing a hardship and need access to my account.
No this is my only ID ME ACCOUNT I do not have another ID ME ACCOUNT this account is my only one!!!
No I have never ever used a virtual private network (VPN) to access my account I dont even know what that is so no I have not used a (VPN) !!! Why is it taking so long to respond back to me so I can gain access to my ID ME ACCOUNT Ive did all the steps whats taking so long to get my account reinstated!!!

I have filled out their form to unsuspend my account (twice), and I am getting no assistance for days... There is no number to call to get help.

Account suspension
My ID me account has been temporarily suspended without an explanation or a solution to get it fixed. I have submitted two help tickets on the site and no answer.
I need this fixed as soon as possible, by the end of the day today. Email me as soon as possible.

Made things worse!
Using IDME to apply for unemployment in the state of Pennsylvania.
Total disaster.
Probably started from my initial error of creating a second account unknowingly.
Ever since cannot clear anything up at all. Followed instructions that I was sent from the ID.me help center to correct a duplicate account.
Followed instructions to the t and did not resolve my problem.
Had to resort to verifying identity through video call.
Had to upload front and back of birth certificate, front and back of driver's license, and social security card, and waited almost 2 hours for verification before they would do a video call.
Site claimed estimate of 40 minutes.
After I finally received the video call nobody ever answered the other line never received any audio at all was disconnected reconnected and disconnected again and after all that got a message stating that it was verified. Upon returning to unemployment compensation website for the state of Pennsylvania, that site said that the information from IDME did not match and to call unemployment.
Totally wasted my whole night and added a ton of stress to me.
Attached is verification of identification and after following instructions to log in to government agency, I got the error message.

ID.ME agent's, representatives has taken over a week and a half to verify my identity with information forwarded from the UPS in anderso, Indiana. verify my identity from the U it
I filed for unemployment benefits via Anderson IN WDW on 53rd Street. I was given documents to take to the United States Post Office located at 1001 Main Street, Anderson IN.
The postal worker verified my identity with my State of Indiana driver's license and rental lease agreement.
ID.ME has yet to contact me or the Workforce Development Center. This issue is preventing the issuance of my benefits for unemployment.
Preferred solution: A response as to why my identity has not been verified ID.ME, as it has been with the United States Post Office in Anderson,IN

They denied verifying me but absolutely verified someone else as me JUST AS I PREDICTED
My online privacy has been compromised since 21, right before my husband died. I explained all this last year and they denied verifying me, so I predicted they would verify someone else as me.
It absolutely happened. I can't even receive emails from you; my emails are filtered.

i understand they are swamped from people who need support but they should at least on the extreme cases be able to provide a phone number with an agent who can walk you through getting case resolved instead of push a button and say here do this which never works in my case i had an appointment with the irs and they cancelled it also no live person will help and I went to howly for answers and they just want me to renew subscription when it did not help me solve my problem

Resolved: Refuse To Delete My ACCOUNT
I have been in email communication with IDme since January 10 asking them to simply close my ACCOUNT!! Every response I get keeps asking me the same series of questions but never resolving the issue.
I have to move March 11 and I can't afford to move now ! I set up the account for use with IRS site to be issued my pin . I can't get it because you will not help me !! You are not protecting me from fraud !
I am trying to use the site ! Not someone else.

- Slow response to requests
Preferred solution: I just want the account deleted so I can make a new one. I can't log in into my IRs account without this issue resolved.
