So I have to verify my identity with id.me but its says I have a duplicate account with an email Ive never seen before so Ive been trying to contact id customer service through email but no luck at all. I need help like this dont make no sense. Any advice on how to get in touch with them.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I could not get into any of my accounts. He was able to verify me and now I'm not locked out
They sucID.me sux!!! I need to get into my IRS account for important papers and they won't let me.
Get rid of this stupid id.me.
I have to get in now.

Can't access my account with new number and MFS factor. I have had this problem continuously for months.
THE SOLUTION THEY PROVIDED DIDN'T EXIST AND WASN'T POSSIBLE AND THERE WAS NO WAY FOR RESOLTION
I NEED TO UPDATE MY LEGAL NAME. THE ROBOT SAYS TO GO TO THE PROFILE TAB, THEN SELECT EDIT NEAR YOUR NAME...BUT, THE EDIT BUTTON IS NOT THERE.
SO, HERE WE GO AROUND IN A ENDLESS CIRCLE.
SUBMIT A SUPPORT TICKET, SENT THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS, SUBMIT A CONTACT ME TICKET, GET IDENTICAL RESULTS.
YOU CANNOT DO WHAT IS NOT POSSIBLE.
AND THIS REQUEST I HAVE IS NOT POSSIBLE AND THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT OFFER A RESOLUTION, JUST AN ENDLESS CIRCEL.
THE AI AND CHAT BOTS ARE A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. EVEN THIS SITE USES A CHAT BOT THAT DOESN'T OFFER THE CATEGORY FOR THE REVIEW THAT IS NEEDED.

Absolutely horrendous
Ive spent 5 hours trying to verify my account and its not letting me. And when I try to call them, they only have a ticket system which states few days or weeks this is one of the WORST websites Ive ever used.
I do NOT recommend this.

I have had an account with ID.me for years and yet now when I try to login into the IRS it wants to verify me. It keeps saying that I am not me and to retry.
I click on the useless video link instead of just me trying and it brings me back to the link of me doing it myself. The video link is useless why do they even have it there. I reached out to customer service be email because ID.me does not have a phone number. Isn't that convenient their system does not work and my life with the IRS is more difficult because now I call and we all know that is useless.
My customer service email reply was you have an account with us already.
How does that help me? Useless company and even worse imaginary customer service.

They keep sending me bot emails when I try and do anything they tell me to do it's a big circle that leads back to leave them a message. Literally months I have been trying to fix this NOTHING WORKS!
I AM A DISABLED VETERAN NEEDING THIS TO ACCESS MY DRS AT THE VA, MY SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY CASE, AND MY IRS.GOV TO FILE BACK TAXES. I CANT LOGIN TO ANY IF THESE SITES CUZ OF ID.ME REFUSING TO FIX MY ACCOUNT SUSPENDED FOR AN UNKNOWN REASON.
THIS IS DETRIMENTAL TO MY HEALTH AND WELL BEING, AND THE MONOPOLY THEY HAVE ON THIS ACCESS WELL I HAVE AN ATTORNEY LOOKING TO EXACTLY THAT REASON FOR LEGAL ACTION CUZ OF THEM I AM LOCKED OUT OF ALL THE GOV'T SITES THAT I NEED TO KEEP MYSELF LIVING AT A STANDARD ABOVE SUFFERING. I HOPE THEY TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY AND CONTACT ME TO FIX THIS OR WELL I HAVE ATTORNEYS THAT ARE PART OF MAJOR NATIONAL CASES LOOKING INTO THE PROBLEM AND EITHER WAY IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD FOR THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY.

I have been trying verify by video for 3 months!
I have been trying for 3 months to verify/merge my id .me accounts. I have not been successful and the chatbot is useless. I still need to get this done for my financial aid.
No help with Accessing my Account
I have been trying to get into my IRS account online so that I can complete filing my taxes for 2023, but I had a duplicate account issue. Even though I got into the IRS account and submitted all my information, photos of my ID, and a FACIAL SCAN, just because I can no longer access an old email address attached to the IRS site, they are refusing to allow me access to my account, it is absurd, considering Ive already identified myself with tons of info and a facial scan, which is the highest form of proving an identity one can do.
People change email addresses all the time,
IID.me, the only ones who apparently can me correct this issue, have no customer support phone line. The only option for getting support from this company, which handles all your access to important government sites with time sensitive requirements for information, only offers a submit a ticket request by email to help you. On top of that, they dont even get back to you within 24 hours, you have to wait days on end to hear back from them. Oh well if you have a time sensitive issue- I guess thats the consumers problem, not theirs, Ive now been waiting 4 DAYS to hear back from this company, and still have gotten no help.
Im sorry but in my opinion, there is no excuse for this.
This has got to be the WORST customer support protocol I have ever had the poor misfortune of being stuck with. Words cannot even express the amount of stress this has created for me, and its totally unnecessary.

- Only one way to correct problems

My ID me account has been blocked for over a year I have contacted you people no response I need it to get in there I need to work
I had a realtor working for me last year and then she tells me at the last minute oh I got into your ID me account ever since then I have never been able to get into it
